Banner Interface Development & Testing

Your Banner People and Banner Push process is now ready for testing.  Please review the details below.  Once you’re ready to begin testing, notify AdmissionPros and both processes will be pointed to Banner TEST (NOT PRODUCTION).   All initial development and testing, as well as subsequent changes, are done in Banner TEST (NOT PRODUCTION).  From this point forward we will refer to Banner Test as test and Banner Production as production.

The Banner Interface consists of two separate processes.

• Banner People – this is the process that either finds an existing student ID/person record in Banner or creates a new person record/student in in Banner.

• Banner Push – this is the process that pushes applications/decisions to Banner for the people who have been taken through the Banner People process.
