Test Score Import

This completes the actual import of score records into AdmissionPros.  However, YOU ARE NOT DONE … you must now process the records imported, by taking the records through the matching process to see if any of the scores imported are a match to existing applicant records in AdmissionPros.

CAUTION:  once a match is confirmed, and a score is linked to an applicant’s record, that score CANNOT be unlinked via the score import module.  Basically, this means that linking cannot be undone (i.e., unlinked) from inside the score import tool.  Instead, to remove the score you will need to go the applicant's record that the score was incorrectly linked to, and delete the score that was linked in error via their test score tab.  Deleting scores on the test scores tab is a real delete, so once they do that the score is gone.

You could then re-import that score alone by finding the original score file, creating a copy, and deleting all scores but the one that needs to be re-imported.   Not an easy repair job so the caution is to only link scores where you’re 100% positive the scores belong to the applicant thought to be a match.

TOEFL Matching Criteria

NOTE:  due to name and city/state/country variations the match success rate on TOEFL scores is much lower than on GRE or GMAT scores.  We recommend that TOEFL scores that cannot be matched with certainty be rolled back to the UNPROCESSED tab (vs. creating new prospects) to avoid creating duplicate records, and so the scores will be available for manual search.
